Knox and LaVille are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2015, but not for long. The Redskins will take on the Lancers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Knox's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
If LaVille heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Knox took over last week. Everything went the Redskins' way against Glenn on Friday as they made off with a 42-22 victory. The Redskins haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Myles McLaughlin continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 272 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 18th straight game with at least 121 rushing yards dating back to last season. Cain Weber helped out on the ground, rushing for 81 yards and a rushing touchdown.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Knox was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 404 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Glenn only rushed for 137.
Meanwhile, LaVille came up short against Tippecanoe Valley on Friday and fell 38-28. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Lancers, who until this game were averaging 15 points allowed.
Knox will have to keep a close watch on Brayden Schwitz and Konnor Amor, a pair of players who had a big impact on LaVille's prior game. Schwitz rushed for 63 yards and a pair of scores on only seven carries, while Amor picked up 176 receiving yards and two TDs. Amor got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 90 yards.
This is the second loss in a row for LaVille and nudges their season record down to 2-3. Their recent woes sure aren't a result of their performance when it comes to yards per carry: they averaged an imposing 5.2 yards per carry in those games compared to only three in the others. As for Knox, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.
Friday's matchup might be decided in the trenches. Knox has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 403 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for LaVille, though, as they've been averaging only 94 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?
Everything came up roses for Knox against LaVille in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, as the team secured a 57-24 win. In that contest, the Redskins amassed a halftime lead of 34-12, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
