Basketball Recap: Centennial Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Centennial lost to Silverado back in December of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Centennial Bulldogs enjoyed a cozy 74-56 win over the Silverado Skyhawks. The victory was just business as usual for the Bulldogs, who after four games remain undefeated this season.

Silverado's loss came despite strong showings from Denali Connolly and Landon Hooiman. Connolly went 6 of 12 en route to 13 points, while Hooiman posted ten points and three steals. The dominant performance also gave Connolly a new career-high in rebounds (four). Another player making a difference was Kayden Goss, who put up nine points and five steals.

Centennial's win ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-0. As for Silverado, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Centennial will take on Weston Ranch in a tournament on December 18th. Weston Ranch has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Silverado, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 75-60 defeat against Mojave on the 12th.
