25 must be Midland's lucky number: they beat Clarendon with that score not once but twice on Tuesday. The Mustangs didn't even let the Lions on the board, marking the Mustangs' second-straight 25-0 shutout. Considering the Mustangs have won nine matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Brayden York was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. York was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Broden Bonsell and Steven Moore did most of the damage at the plate: Bonsell got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs and four RBI, while Moore scored four runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave Moore a new career-high in RBI (two). Another player making a difference was Cody Hart, who scored two runs while going 1-for-1.

Midland always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .743. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The win (which was Midland's third in a row) raised their record to 12-8. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 20.3 runs over those games. As for Clarendon, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
