The West Wendover Wolverines will head out on the road to face off against the Rowland Hall Winged Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Wendover's defense has only allowed 25.2 points per game this season, so Rowland Hall's offense will have their work cut out for Rowland Hall.
Last Saturday, West Wendover made easy work of Lund and carried off a 37-17 victory.
West Wendover can attribute much of their success to Lesly Tovar , who scored 11 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Tovar has scored at least 25% of West Wendover's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Anaya Hernandez , who scored 3 points along with 3 steals.
Meanwhile, Rowland Hall suffered a rough 37-17 defeat at the hands of Rockwell on Friday.
The losses dropped West Wendover to 2-2 and Lund to 0-4.
West Wendover came up short against Rowland Hall when the teams last played back in December of 2021, falling 38-29. Can West Wendover avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
