The Woodlawn Warriors will head out on the road to square off against the Owings Mills Golden Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Woodlawn will be strutting in after a victory while the Golden Eagles will be coming in after a loss.
Last Wednesday, Woodlawn didn't have too much trouble with the Knights on the road as they won 35-18. The win made it back-to-back wins for Woodlawn.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Woodlawn to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kaelyn House, who scored eight points along with five steals. Jordan Harding was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five steals.
Meanwhile, Owings Mills' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their tenth straight loss. They were dealt a 51-23 loss at the hands of Carver A&T. Owings Mills has not had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Woodlawn's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-8. As for Owings Mills, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-16.
Woodlawn came up short against the Golden Eagles in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 53-43. Can Woodlawn avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
