There's no place like home for South Aiken, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 23-7 victory over the Aiken Fighting Green Hornets on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Thoroughbreds in their matchups with the Fighting Green Hornets: they've now won nine in a row.

Tommy Burns III threw for 67 yards on five of ten attempts. Keon Raysor was his top target, picking up 38 receiving yards. On the ground, Blain Drake rushed for 97 yards and one touchdown.

The victory got South Aiken back to even at 5-5. As for Aiken, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Coming up, South Aiken is taking a road trip to square off against Hilton Head Island at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Thoroughbreds will need to watch out since the Seahawks have now posted at least 31 points in their last seven contests. Aiken does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
