Baseball Recap: Central Wisconsin Christian's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak at Home

Central Wisconsin Christian had lost four games at home, but after bumping their record up to 2-5 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Kenosha Christian Life Eagles with a sharp 14-6 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Crusaders considering their one-run performance the game before.

As for Kenosha Christian Life, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. They haven't had much luck with Central Wisconsin Christian recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

For Kenosha Christian Life's part, Jacob Plapp was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. The Eagles are 2-1 when Plapp posts two or more runs, but 4-5 otherwise. Austin Becker also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Looking ahead, Central Wisconsin Christian will face off against Oakfield at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kenosha Christian Life, they will challenge St. Francis at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
