The Triad Math and Science Academy Bengals scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Millennium 82-47 on the road. The win was some much needed relief for Triad Math and Science Academy as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.
When it comes to explaining why Millennium lost, one person who can't be blamed is Aryan Hira. Despite the final result, he scored 31 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hira has scored all season.
Triad Math and Science Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-15. As for Millennium, their defeat was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-17.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Triad Math and Science Academy will take on Leadership Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Leadership Academy is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 61.7 points per game this season. As for Millennium, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Cornerstone Charter at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th. Hopefully Millennium focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 32 on Friday.
