They came out on top in a nail-biter against Trinity Christian and snuck past 40-38. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Greenville Christian Academy has posted yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Greenville Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kat Price, who scored nine points. Another player making a difference was Imogen Rawls, who scored 16 points.
When it comes to explaining why Trinity Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Emily Jordan. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 20 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jordan has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Burnham, who scored five points along with 11 rebounds.
Even though they lost, Trinity Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Greenville Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Trinity Christian, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-6.

Greenville Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Eastern Christian HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. on January 12th. That game will pit two of the most dominant against one another: Kaylee Ange and Rawls. As for Trinity Christian, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Christ Covenant at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th. Christ Covenant presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Trinity Christian in North Carolina (Christ Covenant is ranked 109th, while Trinity Christian is ranked 238th).
