The Rogers Rams lost against the Olympia Bears back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Rogers took a 65-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Olympia. Rogers has struggled against Olympia recently, as their game on Saturday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Rogers still got an impressive performance from Treyshawn Weatherspoon, who scored 22 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Weatherspoon hasn't dropped below 15points for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Amanna Anusiem, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Rogers now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Olympia, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rogers will take on Curtis at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Olympia, they will head out on the road to challenge Sumner at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Sumner presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Olympia in Washington (Sumner is ranked 19th, while Olympia is ranked 65th).
