The Chaparral Bobcats pushed their score all the way to 57 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They received a tough blow as they fell 74-57 to Shoemaker. It was the first time this season that Chaparral let down their fans at home.
Defeat or not, Chaparral got some senior leadership from Alphonzo Houser who scored 12 points and CJ Norwood who scored 15 points. Houser has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Demarko Williams was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Chaparral's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-7. As for Shoemaker, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-5.
Chaparral and Bowie will round out the year against one another at 11:20 a.m. on December 28th at. As for Shoemaker, they will square off against Johnson at 2:00 p.m. on December 28th. Johnson has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,096 points over their last 16 matchups.
