Mitchell scored 24 points along with eight rebounds and four steals, while Mcdowell dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds. Mcdowell has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last ten times she's played. Kameryn Howard was another key contributor, scoring four points along with eight rebounds and seven assists.
Cypress Springs' win was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-2. As for Bridgeland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-12.
