There's no place like home for The Central Texas Christian Lions, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road two weeks ago. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat St. Paul 40-0 at home. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as Central Texas Christian just coasted through the last quarter.
Tabor Tyson got back to being his usual excellent self, as he rushed for 266 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 14.8 yards per carry, and also picked up 87 receiving yards and a touchdown. Tyson's longest rush was for an incredible 75 yards.
Central Texas Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-4. As for St. Paul, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing New Braunfels Christian Academy the next time they take the field. Central Texas Christian will head out to face New Braunfels Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while St. Paul will host them at 7:30 p.m. on November 3rd.
