After four games on the road, Chase County is heading back home. They will take on the Kimball Longhorns at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kimball took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Chase County, who comes in off a win.
Last Thursday, Chase County earned a 39-27 win over Perkins County.
Kimball suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They were dealt a 66-18 loss at the hands of Bridgeport. Kimball was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-6.
Despite their defeat, Kimball saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Grace Anderson, who scored eight points along with six rebounds, was perhaps the best of all.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Kimball struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Bridgeport posted 16 assists.
Chase County pushed their record up to 5-6 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Kimball, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Chase County against Kimball in their previous meeting last Saturday as the squad secured a 54-22 victory. Does Chase County have another victory up their sleeve, or will Kimball turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
