The biggest upset of the week belonged to Spearfish, who defeated 31st ranked Spearfish, 32-0.
Belle Fourche was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to third in Black Hills - Mount Rushmore. The Broncs beat the Spartans 32-0 earlier in the week.
More's dynamic duo of Matt Eastmo and Riley Scherr proved to be unstoppable against Hot Springs, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Eastmo threw for 166 yards and 2 touchdowns and Scherr had 51 yards receiving. Caden Skinner helped More's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 40 yards.
The Cavaliers' dynamic duo of Eastmo and Scherr proved tough for the Bison to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Jacob Henderson was a key player and the best on defense this week as More bested Hot Springs. The 6-foot-2 senior racked up 2.0 sacks.
Scherr was the best receiver in the league this week as Wayne Sullivan's team topped the Bison.
Eastmo put up the best numbers in passing as the Cavaliers defeated Hot Springs.
Tanner Weaver was the best running back in the league this week. In 17 carries, he ran for 75 yards as Sturgis Brown beat the Bison. Tanner Nelson also contributed to the rushing game with 43 yards on the ground.
A big matchup in Black Hills - Mount Rushmore this week will be when Belle Fourche takes on Hot Springs. The Broncs are currently in third, while the Bison are in sixth.
Spearfish lost to Belle Fourche 32-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
