The Goleman Gators can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They claimed a resounding 44-8 victory over Reagan on the road. That's another feather in the cap for Goleman, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Despite the loss, Reagan saw an underclassman step up: Sophia Naranjo-palma scored four points along with seven rebounds and five steals. Naranjo-palma hasn't dropped below three steals for 12 straight games.
Goleman is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for Reagan, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-16.
Goleman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Reagan, they and Hialeah will face off at 6:00 p.m. on February 5th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Reagan is facing Hialeah at the right time seeing as Hialeah is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
