Make it 11 blowout wins for the Timnath Cubs this season. They claimed a resounding 83-37 victory over Frontier Academy on the road. The win was familiar territory for Timnath who now have three in a row.
Timnath's win on Thursday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lily Eisbrener, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten steals. Eisbrener is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tiana Guzman, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Timnath's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.4 points per game. As for Frontier Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.
Coincidentally, Timnath and Frontier Academy will both be playing Brush the next time they take the court. Frontier Academy will head out to face Brush at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Timnath will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
