The Northwestern Lehigh Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Wyomissing Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Northwestern Lehigh sitting on 14 straight victories and Wyomissing on six.
Northwestern Lehigh extended their postseason success on Friday against Scranton Prep. They were the clear victor by a 27-6 margin over the Cavaliers. Considering Northwestern Lehigh has won 13 games by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
It was another big night for Dalton Clymer, who rushed for 112 yards and three touchdowns. Clymer hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Shane Leh, who threw for 110 yards and a touchdown while completing 72.7% of his passes.
Meanwhile, Wyomissing can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. Everything went their way against Danville as Wyomissing made off with a 48-27 victory. Wyomissing's victory was all the more impressive since Danville was averaging only 14.43 points allowed on the season.
Northwestern Lehigh pushed their record up to 14-0 with that win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 29.2 points. As for Wyomissing, their victory bumped their record up to 12-1.
