Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Farmington). They never let the Kirtland Central Broncos get on the board and left with a 20-0 win on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for the Scorpions as they're now sitting on five straight.

Farmington's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Kirtland Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.

Farmington has already played their next game, a 9-8 win against Uintah on the 20th. As for Kirtland Central, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-9 loss against Durango on the 20th.
