After a string of eight wins, The Northwest Christian Crusaders''s good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 27-20 to Thunderbird. The contest was a 10-10 toss-up at halftime, but Northwest Christian was outscored by Thunderbird in the second.
Although Northwest Christian took the loss, they still got scores from Devon Helmer and Cole Muscari.
Elijah Little was his usual excellent self, rushing for 164 yards and three touchdowns.
Northwest Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-1. As for Thunderbird, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.
