The Coastal Christian Centurions posted their biggest victory since December 8, 2023 on Friday. They blew past Arendell Parrott Academy 65-35 on the road. With Coastal Christian ahead 32-11 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Aidan Davies continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Coastal Christian's points. George Robertson was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Arendell Parrott Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Oliver LuQuire, who scored six points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Jones, who scored 11 points.
Coastal Christian's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-11. As for Arendell Parrott Academy, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coastal Christian will take on Cape Fear Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Cape Fear Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Friday. As for Arendell Parrott Academy, they will play host again and welcome John Paul II Catholic, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
