Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Calumet). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Hancock Bulldogs 65-31. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Copper Kings have posted since December 18, 2023.

Calumet now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Hancock, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Calumet won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Baraga at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Hancock, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ontonagon at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
