Poetry Community Christian took a 44-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Heritage Christian. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Poetry Community Christian in their matchups with Heritage Christian: they've now lost three in a row.
Poetry Community Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jude Shook, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel McClure, who scored nine points.
Poetry Community Christian dropped their record down to 6-17 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Heritage Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-6 record this season.
