The only member of MaxPreps.com's 2011 Top 100 yet to make a decision on his college future finally ended his recruitment Tuesday when
DeAndre Daniels elected to head to Connecticut.

The 6-foot-7, 190-pound wing-forward has spent the last year at
IMG Academies (Bradenton, Fla.) and is rated the 19th-best prospect in the country. The Huskies were an upset winner for Daniels' services, seemingly coming out of nowhere to land the highly-touted native Californian.
"DeAndre has taken full advantage of everything that IMG has to offer and has continued to develop on the court, in the classroom and in the weight room," IMG Basketball Academy director Andy Borman said via press release. "He is an extremely talented young man, but what sets him apart from other talented kids his age is the fact that he is extremely driven and focused on becoming the best player possible. He is an immediate impact player at the next level."
Daniels committed to Texas while attending
Taft (Woodland Hills, Calif.) in 2010, but re-opened the process last fall and has been connected to Duke and Kansas among others in recent months.
According to the press release posted on IMG's site, Daniels picked the national champions over interest from Duke, Florida, Kansas, Oklahoma State, Tennessee and Texas.
With the window to sign a letter of intent past, Daniels will sign a financial aid agreement with the Huskies.
