The Tri-County Academy Rebels lost against the Parklane Academy Pioneers on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Tri-County Academy was beaten by Parklane Academy 61-25. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Tri-County Academy has scored all season.
Tri-County Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Sawyer Pettit, who scored five points, and Noah Brown who scored eight points along with five rebounds. Pettit also posted two blocks for the first time this season.
Tri-County Academy struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
This is the second loss in a row for Tri-County Academy and nudges their season record down to 3-8. As for Parklane Academy, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with that win, which was their third straight on the road.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tri-County Academy will play host again and welcome Greenville Christian, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Parklane Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Franklin County at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
