It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Grafton can now relate to. They came up short against the Herbert Hoover Huskies on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Bearcats' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Herbert Hoover got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kylie Hackney out in front who had 22 assists and four digs. Those 22 assists gave Hackney a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Braelyn Adkins, who had nine digs and three assists.

Grafton's defeat dropped their record down to 19-12. As for Herbert Hoover, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 54-8-1 record this season.

Grafton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Herbert Hoover, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against John Marshall on the 11th.
