The Midland Legacy Rebels will venture away from home to  challenge the Frenship Tigers  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 1,122 yards in their previous games.
Midland Legacy is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have   all season. They enjoyed a cozy  58-42 win over San Angelo Central on Friday. The  victory continues a trend for the Rebels in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now won six in a row.

Midland Legacy got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  JP Reyes out in front who threw for 478 yards and five  touchdowns while picking up 12.6 yards per attempt. 146 of those passing yards were hauled in by Caden Ellis, who also brought in three  receiving touchdowns.
 Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 22 points in total.  Steven Verastegui delivered a perfect  3-3 game. One of the most memorable scores? An impressive kickoff return for a touchdown from  Nic Moore.
Meanwhile, Frenship beat Midland 42-31  on Friday. Given the Tigers' advantage  in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 130th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 263rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Midland Legacy better keep an eye on  Chase Campbell. He was instrumental in Frenship's win, picking up 143 receiving yards and three  TDs, while also punching in one  score on the ground. What's more,  Campbell racked up 137.5  passer rating, the most he's  had since back in October of 2024. Another passer making a difference was  Quaid Ferris, who threw for 294 yards and four  touchdowns.
 The  victory  got Frenship back to even at 3-3. As for Midland Legacy, the  win was their first  on the road , bumping their record up to 2-4.
