After flying high against Turpin on Tuesday, West Clermont came back down to earth. The Wolves came up short against the La Salle Lancers on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Lancers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Gabe Cochran paced West Clermont's offense, picking up eight kills. Cochran got some help from Jordan Michael Pack and his 15 assists.
La Salle can attribute much of their success to Lance Wiesman, who had 12 digs and one assist. Wiesman is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 12 or more in each of the last 19 games he's played. Owen Herzog also deserves some recognition as he served his first aces of the season.
West Clermont's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for La Salle, they moved to 5-17 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.
