The Cambridge Christian Lancers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 33 points or more this season. They blew past Classical Prep 71-38 on the road. The victory was just what Cambridge Christian needed coming off of a 88-26 defeat in their prior matchup.
Andrew Proffitt was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 23 points. Those 23 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Martinez, who scored 15 points.
Cambridge Christian now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Classical Prep, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Cambridge Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Aubrey Rogers at 6:30 p.m. on December 28th. Classical Prep will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hernando Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024. Hernando Christian Academy has insisted on making their lastfour contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-2 during that stretch of close contests.
