New Covenant Christian extended the longest winning streak in Freelance this week by beating Airborne for Christ, 38-0. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
New Covenant Christian led the league in scoring this week after putting up 38 points on the Rangers. Lamont Dickerson in the win.
Josh Perry was the best wideout in the league this week as Rocky Mount Prep fell to Gates County. Perry racked up one reception for five yards. Jarod Parker helped Rocky Mount Prep's passing attack out by catching one ball for two yards.
Mark Tann was the most productive running back in Freelance this week. He ran for 72 yards on 15 carries as Rocky Mount Prep lost to the Red Barons. Teammate Parker added to the ground attack by rushing for 20 yards.
Isiah Lynch has thrown for 43 yards and one touchdown this season, while Perry has four catches for 21 yards. Tann leads the league in rushing with 192 yards.
