Red Mesa is 3-0 against Seligman since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Red Mesa Redskins will stay at home for another game and welcome the Seligman Antelopes at 3:00 p.m. on December 20th. Hopefully Red Mesa focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday.
Red Mesa scored the most points they've had all season to find success. They claimed a resounding 75-20 win over Music Mountain at home. That looming 75-20 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Red Mesa yet this season.
Red Mesa's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tianna Bradley led the charge by scoring 17 points along with four steals. That's the first time this season that Bradley scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Shyla Pipkin, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Seligman, who are still winless after their eighth game. They took a serious blow against Grand Canyon on Saturday, falling 51-22. Seligman has not had much luck with Grand Canyon recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Red Mesa pushed their record up to 6-2 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.7 points per game. As for Seligman, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
Everything came up roses for Red Mesa against Seligman when the teams last played back in November of 2022 as the squad secured a 73-7 victory. Will Red Mesa repeat their success, or does Seligman have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
