After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cristo Rey St. Martin, the Lake County Baptist Lions were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They came out on top against Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family by a score of 45-36.
Leading Lake County Baptist to victory were Miles Davis and Christopher Reindl. Davis scored 18 points, while Reindl scored 18 points. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Reindl has scored at least 25% of Lake County Baptist's points. Kwi Vifansi was another key contributor, scoring 6 points.
Lake County Baptist now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake County Baptist will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Quentin Road Christian at 5:30 p.m. on January 9, 2024. Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Westmont at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th.
