Keystone has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Clearview Clippers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keystone has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Last Saturday, Keystone humbled the The Phoenix with a 74-43 victory. With Keystone ahead 35-14 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Grant Hartley continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 39 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Hartley is crushing the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Liam Goran was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Clearview over the Pirates in every quarter on their way to victory on Saturday. Clearview was the clear victor by a 66-43 margin over the Pirates. The win made it back-to-back wins for Clearview.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Clearview to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cy Christensen, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashton Noble, who scored 14 points along with four steals.
The win got Keystone back to even at 8-8. As for Clearview, their win bumped their record up to 5-10.
Tuesday's contest is shaping up to be a masterclass in shooting: Keystone have been dynamite from deep this season, having made 46.2% of their threes per game. However, it's not like Clearview struggles in that department as they've made 42% of their threes this season. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Everything went Keystone's way against the Clippers when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as the Wildcats made off with a 68-44 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Keystone since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
