Several Raptors players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Evie Walldorf, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Walldorf has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Abby Brauchle, who scored five points along with five rebounds.
Leading Crestwood to victory were Javiah Martin and Saniya Williams. Martin scored 16 points along with four steals, while Williams scored 17 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Martin has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. London Vaughn was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with two steals.
Academic Magnet has been struggling recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Crestwood, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-6.
Academic Magnet will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lake Marion at 6:30 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Carolina (Lake Marion is ranked 183rd, while Academic Magnet is ranked 198th). As for Crestwood, they will head out on the road to challenge Camden at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Camden will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
