On Tuesday, Delta ended up a good deal behind Westwood Baptist Academy and lost 51-33. Delta has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
It was another big night for James Hawley, who scored 20 points along with six steals for Westwood Baptist Academy. Hawley is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ben Jones, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Delta's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Westwood Baptist Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-2.
Delta does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Westwood Baptist Academy will look to defend their home court on Friday against Liberty Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. Liberty Christian Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 368th, while Westwood Baptist Academy is ranked 169th).
