It was a good run, but the Pinewood Panthers unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 79-67 to Basis Independent Silicon Valley. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Monday (60), Pinewood still had to take the loss.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Basis Independent Silicon Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Robert Ji, who scored 23 points along with three steals. The contest was Ji's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Andrew Lin, who scored 18 points.
Pinewood's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-2. As for Basis Independent Silicon Valley, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Pinewood will stay at home for another game and welcome Woodside at 12:30 p.m. on December 16th. Basis Independent Silicon Valley won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Ann Sobrato at 5:30 p.m. on December 13th.
