The Portville Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Falconer Golden Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Portville suffered their closest loss yet this season on Friday. They fell just short of Frewsburg by a score of 55-52. It was the first time this season that Portville let down their fans at home.
Meanwhile, Falconer was beaten by Frewsburg 78-33 last Tuesday. Falconer was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-11.
Portville's loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-2. As for Falconer, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Portville beat Falconer 52-44 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Will Portville repeat their success, or does Falconer have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
