After soaring to 68 points the game before, the Northwestern Warriors were a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They were dealt a 62-20 defeat at the hands of Urbana. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Northwestern has scored all season.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Northwestern struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Northwestern bumped their record down to 3-6 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 29.0 points per game. As for Urbana, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.
Northwestern will head out on the road to face off against Benjamin Logan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Urbana, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Jonathan Alder at 7:30 p.m. Jonathan Alder knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine matchups -- so hopefully Urbana likes a good challenge.
