Bullis' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ivanna Manyacka, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds. Manyacka hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for ten straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kai Powell, who scored nine points along with seven assists and six steals.
Despite the loss, Maret still got an impressive performance from Kennedy Austin, who scored 21 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. Austin hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for five straight games. River Adams was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six rebounds.
Bullis' win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Maret, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.
Bullis will square off against Tournament Opponent at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Maret, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Coolidge at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Coolidge is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
