Southwest Florida Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Canterbury as they made off with an 11-3 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the King's considering their one-run performance the game before.

Aubrey Reilly was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Olivia Tyler was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.
Southwest Florida Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .590. They are a perfect 12-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
The home team had won the previous six meetings between Evangelical Christian and Seacrest Country Day, and Evangelical Christian kept the tradition alive. The Sentinels' pitcher stepped up to hand the Stingrays a 19-0 shutout on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Sentinels in their matchups with the Stingrays: they've now won five in a row.
Hayden Billie looked comfortable as she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Karsyn Mootz was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Anayeli Guzman, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.
Evangelical Christian's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Southwest Florida Christian, their record now sits at 14-10.
Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Southwest Florida Christian has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .462. However, it's not like Evangelical Christian struggles in that department as they've averaged .463. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
