South Bend Adams' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Amari Wesson, who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jarvis Tolbert, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds.
Marquette Catholic now has a losing record at 6-7. As for South Bend Adams, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7.
Marquette Catholic will head out on the road to take on Andrean at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Andrean is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games. As for South Bend Adams, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Glenn at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. Glenn knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully South Bend Adams likes a good challenge.
