Bryce Beisner was his usual excellent self, scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks for Beloit. Another player making a difference was Quinn Eilert, who scored eight points along with six rebounds.
Minneapolis' loss was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Beloit, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-1.
Minneapolis will look to defend their home court on Friday against Sacred Heart. Sacred Heart presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Minneapolis in Kansas (Sacred Heart is ranked 15th, while Minneapolis is ranked 243rd). As for Beloit, they will head out on the road to face off against Republic County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Republic County has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 2.
