The GlenOak Golden Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Canton South Wildcats at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. GlenOak has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
GlenOak scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They breezed by Firestone at home to the tune of 57-23. Given GlenOak's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 196th, while Firestone is ranked 592nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Canton South beat Fairless 48-42 on Wednesday.
Sydney Comer was her usual excellent self, scoring 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Summer Hastings-Peterson, who scored 12 points.
GlenOak's record now sits at 9-12. Canton South's record is now 13-7.
