Basketball Recap: Pinecrest Academy Cadence Takes a Loss

Pinecrest Academy Cadence lost against Palo Verde back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pinecrest Academy Cadence Cougars were dealt a 79-23 defeat at the hands of the Palo Verde Panthers. The game marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Pinecrest Academy Cadence still got an impressive performance from Gebriel Quimoyog, who posted seven points. Quimoyog has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played.

This is the second loss in a row for Pinecrest Academy Cadence and nudges their season record down to 4-12. As for Palo Verde, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
