In what's become a running theme this season, the Prescott Badgers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. They blew past Bradshaw Mountain 48-26. Winning may never get old, but Prescott sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Prescott found their leader in underclassman Bella Abt, who almost dropped a triple-double on 12 points, 11 rebounds, and nine steals. Abt hasn't dropped below two steals for 12 straight games. Addie Prisciandaro was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with two steals.
Despite the loss, Bradshaw Mountain still got an impressive performance from Giselle Serrano, who scored 15 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Presley Connolly, who scored six points.
Bradshaw Mountain struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Prescott racked up 11 assists.
Prescott has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. As for Bradshaw Mountain, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-15.
Prescott is on the road again on Thursday and plays Mingus at 7:00 p.m. on February 1st. Prescott is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 59.9 points per game this season. As for Bradshaw Mountain, they will head out on the road to challenge Lee Williams at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bradshaw Mountain is coming into the matchup with three straight defeats on the road, meaning Lee Williams will have to defend against a team hungry for a win.
