The Mt. Clemens Battling Bathers were the 62-59 winners over the Michigan Collegiate Cougars when they previously met last month. On Friday? They had no such luck. Mt. Clemens was just a bucket shy of a win and fell 71-70 to Michigan Collegiate. This makes it the second loss in a row for the Battling Bathers.
The defeat dropped Mt. Clemens' record to 8-9. Michigan Collegiate's victory brought them up to 9-5.
Mt. Clemens will take on Bradford Academy next week. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 32 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close contest. As for Michigan Collegiate, they will go up against Lakeview in two weeks. Lakeview is also hoping to continue their momentum after a 62-51 victory over Port Huron on Thursday.
