The Jackson Aggies won the last time they faced the Monroe County Tigers, and things went their way on Thursday too. Jackson put the hurt on Monroe County with a sharp 64-43 win.
Jackson can attribute much of their success to Micah Caster, who scored 27 points. The match was Caster's third in a row with at least ten points. William Joseph Taylor was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals.
Jackson now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Monroe County, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
Jackson will head out on the road to face off against Clarke County at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Monroe County will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hillcrest at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th.
