After two weeks on the road, Syracuse is heading back home. On Friday they take on Freeman at 7:00 PM. The odds don't look promising for Syracuse, but the bigger the opponent is, the harder they fall.
After flying high against Conestoga two weeks ago, Syracuse came back down to earth. Syracuse took a serious blow against Wilber-Clatonia last Friday, falling 0-60. Syracuse were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-40.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Freeman beat Johnson County Central 12-8. The success made it back-to-back wins for Freeman.
Freeman's win lifted them to 5-2 while Syracuse's loss dropped them down to 1-6. We'll find out if Freeman can add another positive mark to their record or if Syracuse can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Freeman's step.
