The Langley Saxons put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They snuck past James Madison with a 48-44 win. 48 seems to be a good number for Langley as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Anya Rahman continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Langley's points. Another player making a difference was Peyton Daley, who scored 9 points along with 9 rebounds.
Langley's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0. As for James Madison, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Langley will square off against Forest Hills at 12:20 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Forest Hills focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Thursday. As for James Madison, they will head out on the road to face off against Meridian at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
