In what's become a running theme this season, the Badger Braves gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat McKinley 66-39 at home. The victory was nothing new for Badger as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Katie Grexa was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 31 points and 15 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Avery Rice was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Badger pushed their record up to 19-2 with that win, which was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.1 points per game. As for McKinley, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-15.
Badger will play host again and welcome LaBrae, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for McKinley, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Streetsboro at 1:00 p.m. on February 24th.
